We are close to Battle, site of the Battle of Hastings in 1066 when William the Conqueror came from Normandy and killed King Harold to become King of England.

We are also close to Rye, the old smuggling port with its Tudor-beamed houses and cobbled streets. Home to Henry James and Paul McCartney to name but two !

Our nearest shopping centre and large town is Hastings - an old fishing port dating since Roman times and full of attractions for all ages.
